5 - The Project Detail Window & Source Tab
The Project Detail window
This is the main edit window, click on the tabs
to configure the various steps in the project.
Project Detail Fields and Buttons
Enable Schedule
Check the Enable Schedule box to send the emails
at the time and date specified.
Next campaign at
Specify the date and time you want this campaign
to be sent. Note: Campaign must remain open on
your computer in order to send a scheduled project.
Repeat every
Set the interval for repeated scheduled sendings.
To enable a one time scheduled run of your project,
insert 0 in the repeat every field. Note: Campaign
must remain open on your computer in order to send
a scheduled project.
Cancel
Click Cancel to exit the project edit
screen without saving any changes you may
have made.
Close
Click Close to save all of your information
before exiting the project.
Step #1 – Information
Source
This is where you locate
and configure your source file
or database.
Database File Location
If you know the path to your database you can
type it directly into this field. Otherwise you can
click Browse. If you need to connect to the
database using and ODBC connection, click ODBC.
Table/Query Name
If there is more than one table or query in your
database, select the correct one from the drop down
field.
Email Address
Select the Email Address Field of your database
from the drop down menu. Note: The drop down selections
are populated from the actual field names in your
database.
CC email Address
Select the CC Email Address Field of your database
from the drop down menu if necessary. Note: The
drop down selections are populated from the actual
field names in your database.
Filters
Use the Basic Filter tab to filter your
data so that only certain groups or database subsets
will receive your email. Use the Advanced SQL
Filter (ODBC) tab to write an SQL WHERE statement (the
Where clause is implied) to determine which sets
of data should be pulled from your database. Note:
Depending on the size of your database and the number
of checks, using a filter may affect Campaign's performance
