
Campaign can track each time an email is opened or previewed in a recipient's mail client. In order to track opened email you will need to have a public domain name specified in the configuration section of Campaign.
On the Open Tracking Tab
Select the field in your database that corresponds
to opened email

In the Message tab paste the {OPENEDEMAILMARKER} merge field anywhere in the HTML message body
From the main menu:
Click Administration < Manage Configuration
Specify the Port Number. The default port is 81. You should not use any of the common ports already in use, 80, 25, 110 etc.
Enter the public domain name in the Campaign Server Address or IP field, e.g. "server1.domain.com". If Campaign resides behind a firewall you will need to enter the computer name of the firewall in this field.
Click Save
This is a global configuration and will apply to all of your email campaigns
