Tracking Mapped Image Links

Many people like to send image rich email marketing messages. The problem is, it is sometimes difficult to create and mange trackable links in those images. Now, with the latest Campaign Enterprise, you can track your mapped image links painelessly.

  • Compress your image to optimize it for the web.
  • Set the map co-ordinates. If you are a good HTML coder, you might be able to set the co-ordinates yourself, but it might be best to use a program like Dreamweaver or Adobe Go-Live to map the image.
  • Upload the code into the email message. Make sure that the pathway to the image is correct.
  • Save the message, then extract the links in the click through area and configure the links just as you would any other links.

To see the mapping at work, click on the rock below, or the dark flower just to the left of the middle. You can hover over the images to see where the link portions are.
