Arial Software Unveils Direct Email Marketing Automation Features In Latest Release of Campaign Enterprise Software

Cody, WY - October 1, 2002 --Automating direct email marketing campaigns is suddenly easier thanks to features now available in Arial Software's Campaign Enterprise software. Built to allow marketing professionals the ability to operate in "fire-and-forget" mode, the features include campaign scheduling, campaign chaining, automatic bounce and automatic click-thru tracking.

CAMPAIGN SCHEDULING SENDS THE MAIL AT SPECIFIC TIMES
Using Campaign Enterprise, marketing professionals can configure, preview and test direct email campaigns ahead of time, then schedule them to launch at any future time or date. Schedules can also be set to repeat on a frequent basis. Uses of this feature include running an email campaign every minute to see if new customers are present, and, if so, sending them a personalized thank you confirmation email.

CAMPAIGN CHAINING SEQUENCES RELATED EMAIL CAMPAIGNS
With the software's campaign chaining automation, the completion of one email campaign launches a second campaign. Direct marketing professionals use this feature to create time-sequenced email campaigns that automatically deliver personalized emails to recipients at specific time intervals.

AUTOMATIC BOUNCE HANDLING
Campaign Enterprise also automates the handling of email bounces. When bounces are detected, the source database is updated, in real-time, with the bounce event. This allows marketing professionals to focus on positive campaign results rather than dealing with non-deliverables.

AUTOMATIC CLICK-THRU HANDLING
When recipients click hyperlinks contained in HTML email messages, Campaign Enterprise senses the clicks, forwards each user to the appropriate URL, and records each event in the appropriate record in the source database. This happens in real-time, with no user intervention required.
