FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Email marketing study
of 120 companies shows over half personalizing
outbound email marketing campaigns: Arial Software
CODY, WY – (Aug. 19, 2003) Arial Software,
a national industry leader in the development
of permission email marketing software, has released
a new study focusing on current approaches and
developments of email marketing.
Called “Email Marketing Trends 2003,”
the email industry white paper is the culmination
of direct communications with 120 Arial Software
customers willing to talk about their current
email marketing campaigns, including their marketing
outreach for 2003.
Arial President and CEO Mike Adams said the diversity
of businesses represented in the study gives professionals
in the email marketing industry an exclusive look
at current information involving company email
marketing strategies.
Adams said one of the strongest points of the
study is the percentages involving an increased
reliance of firms on multi-channel marketing.
In other words, companies are increasingly combining
email marketing campaigns with other formats such
as website offers, print media advertising, and
direct mail, according to the report.
On the average, companies, institutes and organizations
engaged in email marketing campaigns send an average
of 45,000 email messages a month. Half of these
firms are conducting email campaigns in tandem
with other marketing channels, such as website
offers and other promotions, according to the
report.
