How to Access Campaign Enterprise Using a Web
Browser
Local Access (on the same
machine with Campaign) If you have Internet
Explorer, a web browser will open automatically
when you start Campaign. (If you use Netscape
as your default browser, a window may not automatically
open). You can also open a browser window by clicking
the Login button on the server manager
window. (Make sure you logout before closing your
browser window or you will have to wait for the
session to time out).
The browser automatically points to the local
host IP address followed by the default port number,
81. This address should be the same for every
computer "http://127.0.0.1:81". The first
page that opens is the login screen. If you do
not see the login page (404 error: page not found)
try replacing the IP address with the domain name
for the local host, "http://localhost:81".

LAN (local area network)
Access
To access Campaign from another computer in your
network, simply replace the local IP address,
with the internal IP address or FQND (fully qualified
domain name) of the Campaign machine. "10.10.10.1:81"
or "campaign.domain.com". Save this address
to your favorites for easy access if you close
the browser window.

Remote Access
To access Campaign remotely, simply replace the
local IP address, with the public IP address or
FQND of the Campaign machine, i.e. "server.domain.com".
For remote access the Campaign machine must be
a public machine. For example, "206.206.0.15:81"
or "campaign.domain.com". Save this address
to your favorites for easy access if you close
the browser window.

If Campaign is running as a service you simply
open a web browser and enter one of the addresses
(as above) depending on the location of the Campaign
server.
Remote access was tested using Internet Explorer
5.5 and 6.0 and Netscape 4.7 and 6.0.
