To update Campaign Enterprise, download the latest build and install over the top of the existing program. We recommend saving a copy of the campaign.sto file to a safe directory prior to updating, just in case.

Revision History

Version 10.2.127 - October 9, 2007

Corrected an error where debug mode was accidentally enabled for copied campaigns.

Version 10.2.126 - September 25, 2007

Updated all the executable files to correct an outdated component's license error.

Version 10.2.122 - July 23, 2007

Corrected an issue where some SMTP servers were not properly formatting click through links during the merging process.

Version 10.2.120 - May 8, 2007

Directly connects to MS Access 2007 which has a new file extension .accdb and new drivers. Now when browsing to an Access file, both .mdb and .accdb files are listed and are fully functional. Like all Access files the database should be on the same computer as Campaign Enterprise. It is possible to place a database file using the .accdb extension on a computer where Access 2007 is not installed, and use Campaign Enterprise for the connection, but the drivers need to be installed. To install the MS Access Drivers without installing Access 2007 visit this site, Access 2007 Drivers.

Version 10.2.118 - Feb 26, 2007

Note: If you previously updated your xconfig.txt file previously, you will want to save a copy of it into a safe directory to be dropped back in after the update. If you don't you may need to reconfigure the data in the xconfig.txt file.

Fixed an issue with IMAP fetch command.

Added another feature to the xconfig.txt file. Segmented sending.
To segment your list into more manageable portions to meet ISP regulations, open the xconfig.txt file found in the main Campaign Enterprise Directory and make the following modifications:

;EmailsPerConnection=15

To enable, remove the leading ; and modify the number to whatever is needed.

Version 10.2.117 - Feb 14, 2007

Fixed a problem connecting to IMAP4rev1 servers.

Corrected a problem where some click through information was not getting cleared out of the overview report properly.

Allows for the use of a completely separate subscribe submit image button.

Fixed an issue where the WC3 logs for the dart server may not have been recording.

Corrected an issue where images hosted on a secure server were not being displayed properly.

Fixed an issue with nested merge fields when using non-numeric unique ids.

Version 10.2.113 - Dec 18, 2006

Corrected issues with using Non-Numeric unique id numbers for write backs. If you update, and are currently using Non-Numeric unique ids (i.e. an email address) you will need to go to the datasource and check the box indicating that you are using Non-Numeric ids. The checkbox is next to the Unique ID field when you connect to the table in the DataSource tab.

Fixed an issue where nested merge fields were not working properly with Non-Numeric unique ids.

Fixed an issue with the Subscribe feature where if you change the Yes button to an image, it did not update the fields properly. Now it will work if you use your own image.

Fixed the W3C logging which was not always recording properly when enabled.

Added an xconfig.txt file to the Campaign Enterprise Directory which allows you to do the following. To enable remove the ; (comment tag) from the front of the line you want to configure, and set the field if necessary (0 is still disabled, so set it to 1). More features will be available in the xconfig.txt as they become necessary.

Action Configuration
Listen for responses on additional port ;AdditionalResponsePort=81
Turn off all Summary Logs, if you set this to 1, no summary is created. Make sure you do not try to email a summary log if you disable this feature ;TurnOffCampaignSummaryLog=0
Disable the PDF reporting ;NoEventDBFFileRecording=0
Change the HELO text for the Campaign Computer ;HELOMessage=mail.somewhere.com

Note, if you currently are using the HELO.txt file to change the HELO name for campaign, you will now need to configure the xconfig.txt file instead.
