Why You Should Upgrade to Campaign 11
Maybe you have been putting off upgrading your Campaign Enterprise for several years
and now find yourself a couple of versions back. There are many good reasons for upgrading from version 8, 9, or 10 aside from the fact
that those versions are no longer updated. Here are a few of the things Campaign 11 can do, that the earlier versions cannot.
- Using variable envelope return paths, you can set up one bounce email account to manage all your campaigns.
- With the new click through processing, you can easily add any number of links to your email message, simply by adding links as you
normally would for any web page. This includes image links and mapped image links. You can style your links however you like too, Campaign
will be able to track them.
- You can manage your ports and ip addresses from the Server Manager Window directly. So if you get locked up somehow because your port
is not set correctly, you can open the program from the start menu and change it. Simply click Actions > Stop Server, then Configuration > Webserver setup.
- Send connections and email accounts are now managed globally. All your connections are stored in the Administration area. Once you
make your connections, you simply select the one you want to use when you edit your campaign.
- You no longer have to remember to put the {OPENEDEMAILMARKER} merge field into your HTML message, just enable the conversion events
and it is added automatically for you.
- The list-unsubscribe header, which allows ISPs to attempt to unsubscribe people from your list on their behalf should they mark your
email as spam is only available in Campaign 11.
- If your support is active, then you get the upgrade at no additional cost. If your support is inactive, you can upgrade for a small
upgrade fee.
- Because it's the right thing to do.
Granted, not every feature we have in the works is in yet, but we have exciting things
in store for Enterprise 11 updates in the future. By keeping your program up to date, you can ensure you have the latest in email marketing
technology.
